Hi All
I noticed the last entry into news and updates section was last year?
Maybe someone can tell us what's in the pipeline if anything for XSP...
Thanks

It would be great to see an answer from Intellimon. While Ben occasionally visits and participates in the Forum, there is little to suggest that the top management at Intellimon ever visits.

My 2-cents...

I think XSP is a program of the past and will be orphaned. With everyone moving to cloud servers and apps, personal software programs are seemingly becoming a thing of the past. Unless one has big bucks to spend like a business would, the only thing available for us mom-n-pop website builders is bogus-ware like, Website Tonight, WebEasy Pro, Serif, et al. And those are even more old school than XSP!

Don't agree, XSP has plenty of life left in it yet.
Purely because of it ease of use to the general non-coder among us.

as you say the other options you mention are too clumsy and not so easy to master.

my 2 cents :)

I am very surprised that in the 11-12 days since the original post, no-one fro XSP has bothered to reply.

Bad sign.

Tell me about it.
I wanted some feed back from the people who are supposed to be the admins of this site about 18 months ago.
Still waiting.
Actually, I gave up a long time ago.

Hi Guys,

I must admit its being a long while since I posted a reply. However, the excitement that used to be on the forum, seems to be gone, there are no new updates, not as many interesting questions as before, and no mention of Xsite Pro 3.0 ? It all seems to be getting very tired. I used to check the forum every day, sometimes twice, now I am lucky to have a look once a month. The software is great, I have been using it since version 1, and love it, but I would love a bit of excitement again , like when we were all waiting for version 2 and 2.5, incidentally are there any more unlisted updates ?

I have been using XSP for almost 3 years and it's sad that the devs have seemed to abandon
updates and keeping users updated here on the forum.
Unfortunately i have moved most of my sites to WP (No choice).
XSP simply is not keeping up with developing trends and changes.

Hopefully XSP 3 can come to the rescue...

Hi All,

Just to let you know that XSitePro development is still happening here.

We have been testing updates ready for a new version (v2.55) .
We are waiting to have the full team back after summer leave before this goes on the auto updater.
Latest update can be found here:
http://licensing.intellimon.com/xsitepr ... ate546.exe

thanks for the update Ben!

I had just posted this on another thread but wanted to add it to this thread.

Could you let us know some of the updates that v2.55 might include?

Thanks
CC

Here is my post on another thread:

Just wanted to add my 2 cents to this thread and say I too hope to see an updated XSP.

I love XSP, but it seems most everything is going to WP because of the ease of use, unbelievable plug ins which give so many options, etc.

However, with that being said....I still use XSP and do very little with WP. In fact, I haven't learned WP and have my VA do what little WP that I need. But, because XSP is falling further behind 'the curve", I am afraid I will have to go more to WP........but 'dragging and screaming" along the way.

Therefore, if any of the XSP 'powers that be" are listening............PLEASE.....update XSP before it becomes a dinosaur and irrelevent.

Thanks
CC

wordpress is where it is at now. I am in the process of converting my xsite pro sites back to wordpress. Too many features available in wordpress now...it cannot be ignored...and in this arena, an update every year is unacceptable tbh..I just stopped by as I am looking for an easy way to convert my xsites back to wp. ill probably install wordpress over the top and leave them in the background linked as old site

Good to know that there is another update coming. It is always appreciated when enhancements are provided to loyal customers.

However, the larger Q that all of us are interested in finding out is if XSP business is a strategic asset for Intellimon! Is there a Version 3 in the cards, and if so, when?

While I am starting to learn and become comfy with Wordpress, I have not yet shifted over. I have, however considered it. I will probably get some experience by doing some easy ones for flipping.

Paul Smithson, would love to hear from you.
