We recently updated to a new computer in our dispatch which has Windows 7 on it. We downloaded xsitepro and exported the current webpage to the program. But I am not able to edit the website at all. Am I missing something? What do I need to do to be able to edit it on the new computer?

Windows 7 runs XSitePro fine. What version of XSitePro are you on? What happens when you try to open the Web site? How did you "export" the Web site to the new computer? We'll need some more details before we can help, I think.

Version 2.53 I am able to open xsitepro but when I click on a page to edit it, I get a script error notification and am not able to edit the page (or any other) at all. We exported the file (using export from the menu) from the old computer to our network and then I imported it into xsitepro from the new computer. What other info can I provide to help?

Was there any issue during the import process? Can you start a new Web site and edit those pages? Can you import the site successfully on any other computer? (If you email me the .xse file, I'll see if I can open it.)

Hi Pepsi,

Win 2k is not supported for XSitePro, however we have had reports that it does work.
What is needed is the .Net 2.0 pack for Win 2k installing first.
I believe that this is still available on the Microsoft website.

Good luck!

I can start a new web page, but with the same results. I don't have another computer in dispatch to download the site to. The old computer was a Windows XP, I think. Both computers now have Windows 7 on them.

I received an error message when I attempted to download the pack listed above. What can I try next?
