I have several issues:
1. Header panel will not show up after publishing, even though it shows up when I use the "Preview" button. (I have tried Firefox, IE 7 and Chrome)
2. One sub-menu on the left navigation panel won't work.

Website is http://www.jeffshealthystuff.com

inoperative sub-menu is "Healthy stuff to Eat"

Any ideas?

Jeff

Did you set left and right margins in Page Layout?

The sub-menu, "Healthy Stuff to Eat" works for me. You do have a problem with your menu. "Home" is not set to your complete URL.

<TR><TD class="maintdTlLEFT_MENU" style="padding-top: 0px ">
<a class="mainlinksLEFT_MENU" href="http://www.jeffshealthystuff/" target="">Home</a>
</TD></TR>

Not sure what you want the header to look like....

I have not changed the left and right page margins since I started this site and they have worked fine up to this point.

There is a heading under "Healthy Stuff to Eat" entitled "Grass-fed beef" that will not show, even though it is checked in page settings.

I don't understand the Home page thing. Do I use the code you listed here to fix it?

The header was a standard XSitePro template that has worked fine but now does not work.

Sorry, I just don't get alot of this stuff.

What template are you using?

Have you gone through the XSite Pro tutorial completely? Going through the tutorial will help greatly in your understanding of how things work and where things go in XSite Pro. While you can build a website using a template and with no knowledge of code with XSite Pro, you do need to know how to organize the "panels" in the template.

Well, now I'm puzzled. I can't find the template number to answer your question CopyWolf. I must have started it from a blank page but my notes don't indicate that. So perhaps that is part of the problem.

While I haven't been through the entire tutorial, I'm not a total novice. I have been able to build 5 websites (from simple XSitePro templates) that have given me very little trouble so it is frustrating that this one has decided to go awry.

If you have already built 5 XSite Pro Sites then you're definitely not a novice.

It could be a bad template. I couldn't see any real evidence of the template in the source code. There was no header image, etc.

Try selecting another template and see if the problem goes away. (I rarely use XSite Pro templates, so I'm not the best person here to know what's going on with a misbehaving template.)

Maybe Jason or ablewebs can help you figure it out.

I was wrong. I am using the XSitePro Graphical 040 template. I reloaded it and now it seems to work OK. Now I will tackle the missing sub-menu issue.

I'm totally confused on this. I thought I had this working properly but I didn't. Now I have changed templates twice and the header panels will not show up on any of the templates. I end up with main panel copy and a left side navigation bar. The only time it shows properly is when I use the preview button after editing. The problem is the same on three different browsers.

Sorry to be a pain, but any more ideas?
