I have had a search of the forum but unable to find answer to my 404 errors.

To explain, after I first published my abc-dog-training.com site I noticed in the website settings of XSP that you could change the file names to lower case. So I changed my pages to lowercase, and I also added categories that shows up in the search engine as category tags.

The problem I have know is a number of 404 errors due to the change form uppercase to lowercase and a number 404 errors due to the category tags.

Can anybody help with how I can correct these 404 errors

I had a similar in my C panel . I had a upper case letter in my folder name.See if the folder for that in your c panel has a upper case letter in it.

No the directory is in lower case and there is no problem with that.

The problem is with the page name eg.

http://www.abc-dog-training.com/persona ... icles.html
http://www.abc-dog-training.com/Persona ... icles.html

The lower case does not work but the upper case works. I have tried using the redirect pages in xsp, but I get a response that the page already exists.

Is there any solution to this

301 redirect with htaccess?
