Each page from various sites that I have already made is freezing showing flashing cursor and non responsive whilst in design mode

There is no point in trying to upload a screenshot because it will not capture the flashing cursor

I cannot edit, update or anything else.
Any tips greatly appreciated :?

Start Up
Select Site
Page Layout
Web Pages
Select Web Page
All is OK

Select Design
Page freezes. Flashing cursor no response. The only way to close is by forced shutdown

I have ran
Malwarebytes
AVG anti virus
superantispywrare
No conflicts found

I tried to do a screen capture using Camtasia but the screen capture just showed as black?

When I select ctrl alt delete task manager pops up but flashes off several time until I can finally close xsitepro

Could not upload attachment to ./files/36435_14372da2b40b6da5b93fe8cd825a9cc3.

Hi Blitzgeist,

The eternal timer in the designer is caused by having Internet Explorer 9 installed on your computer.
This version of Internet Explorer is missing some critical components that XSitePro uses.
We have created an update that will allow XSitePro to work with this version of Internet Explorer

Jason is spot on that we have fixed this in the version of XSitePro from v2.530 upwards.
