 Post subject: Subdomain Title Question

A subdomain is titled "Blank Guide 2012," the idea being that "2012" infers up-to-date, which it would be.

My concern is that once it is listed and established, if I eventually naturally change it to "Blank Guide 2013," will just the change in one character "2" to "3," cause a loss in ranking. Maybe a complete delisting.

I guess any answer here would be guesswork and speculation. Which would be welcomed.

Next year you can 301 redirect the 2012 subdomain to 2013.
Or just drop the year-naming from the start and go with blank guide.
