I'm getting special coding added to the end of my urls after publishing. What is that coding? How did it get there? How do I get rid of it? Eg. here #.T9G1UVLVyt8 is added to the end of all my urls.

Eg. http://www.mysite.com/dir/#.T9G1UVLVyt8
http://www.mysite.com/myfile.html#.T9G1UVLVyt8

Should I include canonical linkage to head document?

Thanks for the help anyone!

Hi Ctl,

The # in a link is to allow you to link straight to a anchor point on the web page.
To link to a specific point on another page, create a anchor point and then use the # symbol to link to it.
Here is a quick video:

You can find the video on the designer that will help you here:

If you do not have any Anchor points on this page then the link will go to the top of the web page.
The canonical link statement in the header should sort this out for Google.
The good news is that XSitePro adds this statement in automatically form v2.540 onwards.
I am hoping an auto-update of v2.550 will be out by the time you read this, so I will not add a link to the latest version. :)
