Just a note to let you all know that October's sites are now ready. The 12 niches are varied so you should find something you like this month. :)

------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------

All sites contain 25 pages of content, adsense loaded and rss feeds integrated into each page to maintain fresh and updated content daily.

Here are the niches covered:

Bridal Accessories
Hawaii Vacation
Internet Banking
Jazz
Paid Surveys
Sewing & Embroidery
Stained Glass
Stock Market
Telescopes
Trains
Trucks

BONUS: iPhone - *26 pages

Of course matching Wordpress templates are also available for all the sites.

For those of you asking about integrating the RSS feeds into sites published prior to August, 2007, please take a look at the Freebies section. You will find an upgrade kit there to integrate into your older sites.

Best of all, the price is free for the upgrade kit.

Enjoy!

To Your Success,
Ted

Hi Ted,

I was wondering if you have an example of one of your WP/XSP sites "in the wild". I guess maybe I just don't "get it" but I'm having a hard time imagining how they play together.

Thanks!!!

Ted, I've been eyeing your sites for several months now and have a few questions for you.. How many of each site do you sell before you put a cap on a particular site?

What would you suggest someone do to make these sites more unique?

thanks,

Dan

Hey Dan, I cap them at 25 copies then rotate out the content. The more popular niches have flipped a few times over.

Other than the obvous rewrite of the articles, you could pare the site down to 5 or 10 articles, and promote an ebook or other related product with squeeze page and send them a free report ccompiled with the remainder of the articles.

Then too, Adsense is not the only way you could monetize. I just use that because A> it is a familiar revenue generator and B> XSitePRo implements Adsense extremely easily. But it is a good starting point with the hard part done for you.

I have customers promoting Amazon, Clickbank, PayDotCOm, CJ, AuctionAds, ecommerce affiliate programs, etc. depending on the niche. Once you get out of the IM niche, there is an endless stream of products to promote to the other 95% of internet users.

Hope This Helps,

Ted

I just successfully completed the transition of a static website to a wordpress blog. That wording sounds kind of awkward so I’ll try again. I just took one of the sites I originally created in XSitePro and turned it into a WordPress blog, keeping the page urls consistent in the process. I’m thrilled. I’ve been wanting to do this for quite awhile but have felt anxious about it, not wanting to screw the whole thing up in the process. There are a couple reasons that I wanted to do this. I find wordpress to be much easier to add content to. With all the plugins, it’s so much easier to get the design and functionality I want. It’s also much easier to build in participation by the visitors, which really helps keep people on the page and coming back again. WP also has build in RSS which helps with promotion and link building. So lots of very good reasons.
