Hey Patrick,
Really nice websites!
I was wondering how you did the info bar for this website:
http://endurafuel.comAs well as how you did the email opt-in form.
Thanks
Hey Rocker, thanks for the compliment. EnduraFuel.com turned out to be one of my favorite designs.
Now to get the infobar looking like that you first need to create the images in something like Photoshop. Once you got that you need to slice the individual images for each menu button/link.
I use XSitePro's native javascript code to create the links and image hover over effect. But for that to work you need to edit a file online (via FTP) once the site is uploaded.
It's more advanced stuff, but the end product looks great. (at least I think so).
BTW... this stuff works well when you know in advance what the links will be, because it's not like you can just add and or remove links in the infobar like you normally would in XSitePro.
There are lots of ways to create menus for websites. You're not limited to just using only XSitePro's menus, but XSitePro does make managing menu links super easy - especially for sites with lots of pages.
As for the opt-in... well it's just a matter of creating an image which you then add as a background to a table. Then inside that table you can add your opt-in code and it will appear over it. Of course then you have to play around with it to position it correctly. I personally like to put code in <div> </div> tags because XSitePro makes it easy to position these tags.
Now I may or may not be making much sense to you and sorry if that's the case.
Let me know and maybe I can put together a video to show you what you want to know.
Let me know.
Have fun!
