I joined the xsitepro club to get a free copy of xcommentpro although I was thinking about joining already for several months.

I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality of it! awesome. I bought the complete guide to website design a few months ago and I am still working my way through the modules (great course by the way), the video's in the club are very welcome. Now I have two sources which keep me busy!

Did we get any free time to use the membership site when we bought xsitepro? Does any one know if the free xcommentpro software offer for joining is coming back?

Hi Pete,

I can not say what offers will be available in the future.

In the club area at the moment we have 60 exclusive 'how to' videos, 6 reports on web marketing, 8 interviews with successful web marketing entrepreneurs, 73 small articles, 10 months worth of clip-art, 20 months of headers (usually 12 headers per month), 38 packs of XSitePro templates ( 190? templates ), News and product reviews, current marketing stats reports, and 72 PDF and video reports that Paul has paid for and made available to club members.

If that is not enough, we are adding extra content continually :)

If I can be of any further help, do let me know.
Ben

Is there a list of what is added every month, if you are not a member? I wish there were more...

bump,

I am interested in this list as well, is it available anywhere? I'm always interested as to what kind of membership deals could be attributed to some of the web projects that I am hosting on a vps. Have any of you guys used virtual private servers to host your web projects? It is really becoming to core of what we can sell to our clients. To give you a preview of what we do with media, we use a video converter and provide copyright free audio and video.

Boy am I disappointed with the XSP Club! The templates are merely the same as in XSP or a a re-jig of the templates already in XSP. No new buttons have been added for over a year!

I am willing to pay the $30 for the button images as they do add some value (though whether $30 worth is actually questionable), but the rest of the offering in the club is outdated rubbish and not worth $30 per month.

it was the fastest membership I have ever cancelled...

Received the following reply from XS Club support re my complaint:

Quote:
Hi Jan

Thank you for your email.

Literally in the last few days, we have relaunched a new and revamped XSitePro Club, determined to deliver a wider range of fresh, unique content that is worthwhile to you. We've queued up lots of exciting new member bonuses for the next year, so please do stay on board with us to avoid missing out on lots of exciting content winging its way to you in the coming weeks and months.

Thank you for your email.

A Recurring Payments (FuturePay) agreement can be canceled by you...

Hi Sunny

“Literally in the last few days, we have relaunched a new and revamped XSitePro Club”… If I joined a “revamped” site, then I am even more disappointed.

• The Headers are those already in XHeader, which costs $47 and I already own.
• The Templates are those I already have in XSitePro.
• Most of the articles are “same same” as articles already freely available on the web.
• The Buttons aren’t bad but not worth $30 a month and as there is no easy way to install them into XSP, they are too much like hard work to use. Having to download buttons as a zip file before being able to see what the styles are is just wrong! Besides, I suspect I can get thousands of buttons for the price of one month’s subscription.
• And the obvious lack of care taken in even checking spelling (“Buttom”) sort of indicates a site owner who is desperately rushing to add content.

The XSP Club Membership is a rip-off at $30 per month. $30 per year may be more appropriate if there are regular updates to content, which has not been the case for 12 months, so I can’t imagine how things will change.

I paid via Paypal, not Future Pay but have already cancelled the subscription.

But thank you for the prompt reply.

The XS Club is a real disappointing resource from a company that otherwise excels in customer service and support.

I was not offered an apology, nor a refund which would have I feel been appropriate given that the promises of benefits were obviously not adherred to in the last 12 months.

There is sooo much not right about the XS Club that i would suggest anyone joining think carefully before spending the outrageous $30 per month ($360 per year), which is a huge amount of money for a small business (which I suspect most XSP owners are).

If you own XSP, you have the templates already. The headers come with XHeader ($47) which has the added benefit of allowing you to modify them and also create your own headers. And for a similar amount you can buy thousands of buttons or a good button making program. A little googling will give you free how-to or advice articles covering most of what is in the XS Club. Much the same can be said about the videos.

This probably sounds like a whinge, but I am disappointed in myself for wasting $30 just because I trusted Intellimon and thought that sharing my views and experience might be appropriate.
