Hi Sunny
“Literally in the last few days, we have relaunched a new and revamped XSitePro Club”… If I joined a “revamped” site, then I am even more disappointed.
• The Headers are those already in XHeader, which costs $47 and I already own.
• The Templates are those I already have in XSitePro.
• Most of the articles are “same same” as articles already freely available on the web.
• The Buttons aren’t bad but not worth $30 a month and as there is no easy way to install them into XSP, they are too much like hard work to use. Having to download buttons as a zip file before being able to see what the styles are is just wrong! Besides, I suspect I can get thousands of buttons for the price of one month’s subscription.
• And the obvious lack of care taken in even checking spelling (“Buttom”) sort of indicates a site owner who is desperately rushing to add content.
The XSP Club Membership is a rip-off at $30 per month. $30 per year may be more appropriate if there are regular updates to content, which has not been the case for 12 months, so I can’t imagine how things will change.
I paid via Paypal, not Future Pay but have already cancelled the subscription.
But thank you for the prompt reply.
The XS Club is a real disappointing resource from a company that otherwise excels in customer service and support.
I was not offered an apology, nor a refund which would have I feel been appropriate given that the promises of benefits were obviously not adherred to in the last 12 months.
There is sooo much not right about the XS Club that i would suggest anyone joining think carefully before spending the outrageous $30 per month ($360 per year), which is a huge amount of money for a small business (which I suspect most XSP owners are).If you own XSP, you have the templates already. The headers come with XHeader ($47) which has the added benefit of allowing you to modify them and also create your own headers. And for a similar amount you can buy thousands of buttons or a good button making program. A little googling will give you free how-to or advice articles covering most of what is in the XS Club. Much the same can be said about the videos.
This probably sounds like a whinge, but I am disappointed in myself for wasting $30 just because I trusted Intellimon and thought that sharing my views and experience might be appropriate.
