Navigation System option missing?

Hi folks, In the Left Panel Navigation Menu Settings window I see an option for the Main Menu Options (Hover) Text Color but NOT for a Main Menu Background Color (Hover). Right now, when I hover over the main menu the background turns a dull dark gray or black and I want to change that.
Isn't there supposed to be such an option there? Where do I find it? How do I get it back, if I lost it? Why isn't it there?

Yes, usually there is an option to change the background colour on the DHTML menus. However, it would help if we knew the specific DHTML menu style you were using.
