Hi Guys,
I have a fairly large site (about 250 pages) that I update quite frequently. When I need to make an update to a certain page, I have to visually scan each article in the left hand panel. This is a pain in the a%@#. Is there a way to search for a page while running the xsitepro software so that it immediately goes to it? Thanks.

Rob

You can use the global "Search and Replace" option to simply search for content that might be unique to that page. However, you can't specify "whole words only," so XSP will return pages containing the word "contest" when you search for the word "test," for instance. It will highlight all the pages containing the search term in the list of pages. It might help a bit.

The other thing to do would be to categorize the articles using Parent pages, and then manually sort them alphabetically under each Parent page. Each new page that gets added could be inserted in the correct place.

Ok, yeah that actually works just fine for my purposes. Thanks for that Ablewebs.

Rob

p.s. is there a way we can submit a feature request or something to xsitepro for when they make an update? I have a few things I think would be a nice addition to the software.

There's a section of the forum called Feature Request. You can submit all your ideas there.
