I have inserted a 4 column table into a page, the text inside Columns will not wrap, it just keeps going in one continous line, If I force a hard return , I get a big space ??? Help, I searched and others are having same problem, when I put <nodesign> around the table I lose the edit ability

To get a single line space you can press Shift+Enter.

Have you set the width for each of the columns?

Do you have non-breaking spaces (&nbsp;) between the words? You'll need to look in the Source view. If so, remove these and put a regular (spacebar) space between words. XSitePro has an annoying habit of adding non-breaking spaces between words when you edit text, however, it should only be here and there, not between every word. Nevertheless, what you are describing would be caused by having a non-breaking space between all your words.

I have the same problem. I've been into the source code and removed all the &nbsp; and hit the space bar and once I exit out and save. then go back into the source code the XSP program has put these &nbsp; back into the code.

This means that XSite Pro is working as it should. Table cells that do not have any content will collapse, so XSite Pro (in reality it's the pinEdit editor that does this) inserts the &nbsp; (non-breaking space) to prevent this from happening.
When the &nbsp; makes a space too large for you table cell, you can trick the editor by adding dummy content, such as a period in a very small font size.
To get it to work without the dot (period) being visible, use something like <span style="font-size:1px">.
