Hi

I got a problem with my glossary. I want the first word for each subject to be wrapped in h2-tags (for SEO reasons), BUT the text right after on the same line needs to be wrapped in <p></p> (and not in bold)

I have tried with h2 {display: inline;} but that removes the <p></p> and then I don't get any space between each subject in my glossary.

Example (this is how I would prefer it):

GLOSSARY

<h2>Keyword A:</h2><p>Description for subject A</p>

(space from the p-tag)

<h2>Keyword B:</h2><p>Description for subject B</p>

(space from the p-tag)

etc. etc.

Any good advice?

Location: The road less traveled...
You could try creating a table for your glossary, with the <H2>Keyword A</h2> and the <p> Description for A</p> in adjoining table cells <td> in the same row.
I'm pretty sure that this would work, since it isolates the the <H2> text from the <p> text. It will give the appearance of being on the same line.
You might need to adjust the padding, line height, H2 margins, etc. to get everything aligned.

Good idea. Only problem with putting everything in table cells is that each topic is not just one line but a whole block of text.
It would be easy to align text on the first line, but it is going to be tricky on the following lines.

I found another solution, but I am afraid to change the formatting of H2 keywords too much because Google might think that I am doing something sketchy - I think I will just keep the <H2>Keyword</H2> on a separate line.... it's going to be a compromise but sometimes you have to choose your battles wisely.

Thanks again for your help CopyWolf.
I can see that you are very helpful in this forum - hope I can help you too someday
